Cedar - Holmstrup

The Holmstrup Cedar is a great choice for a hedge that will only grow 8-10ft when mature. It will grow slower than the Skybound Cedar but you will not have to prune it each year to keep it at a specific height. As with all cedars, the plant will benefit greatly from having rich, moist soil and will not take well to a dry environment. It is normally best to plant these cedars with a bowl of mulch around the outside of the roots and to use drip irrigation if you do not want to water by hand.
