Juniper (Upright) - Moonglow

The Moonglow Juniper is a fantastic substitute for a Brandon or Skybound Cedar if you do not want to spend the extra time watering every summer to keep your evergreens alive. This juniper grows extremely dense and will fill in a hedge beautifully in our climate. They are medium-growing speed and can handle severe drought once established. The blue color in the summer is a unique and welcoming sight and a hedge of Moonglow Juniper is a showstopper for any passersby.

We have planted a row of Moonglow Juniper at a business in St. Paul, Alberta, and the pictures posted here show their vigor when planted in rock with absolutely no extra care or love. They will grow even better if you offer them a little fertilizer and water, but it's not necessary.
